Emily Jeanson

Entrepreneur

Where entrepreneurial spirit meets hands-on expertise. Emily brings to the table a diverse and dedicated background spanning a Master’s in Business, a starter career in social care and non-profit management, which led to the Peace Corps, and eventually morphed into corporate incident and risk management. Emily built HIRS from the ground up over the last 3 years, and 2024 is about building and collaborating with teams and organizations that share the same vision.

Raised in a family where the expectation was to fix, repair, and build, he embodies a wealth of knowledge, encapsulated by his personal motto: “we can fix anything.”

One of the youngest in a family of ten, Brian inherited years of wisdom passed down from his grandfather, father, and brothers who were also all in the trades. HIRS is indebted to Brian’s proficiency, making learning and training from him, paramount for the company.

Travis thrives in finished custom, novelty projects, demonstrating his versatility for planning and crafting an array of items from coffee and end tables, to bedframes, wine racks and interior decor, to his infamous cutting and charcuterie boards. He loves to innovate for all needs. Whether it’s reclaimed wood, aged barn boards, or a log from a backyard tree, Travis has the eye and talent to make enduring and heirloom-quality pieces.

Creativity

Travis possess a keen vision for creating distinctive custom orders - anything to do with bolts, lags, wood burning and favoring industrial, Nordic style. Travis recently undertook the challenge of creating signature furniture for a Viking/Medieval-themed wedding. The portfolio included a 16-ft head table, two 8’ food tables, two decorative tables, and 8x8 arbor and entranceway from with birch and maple logs, along with his-and-hers personalized thrones.

Strength

Travis is a generous blend of strength and determination. Not only exceling in the finished work, Travis otherwise prefers lifting heavy objects, or tackling the tough jobs like demolition and disposal. And he makes those look easy. Travis has worked across multiple industries and fields including construction, finished carpentry, cable, landscaping, sheet metal, welding, and operating heavy equipment. He is a force not to be underestimated.
